Created to produce.

It pleases God to create a man,to multiply, subdue, dominate and controls the earth. This being He wish not to create them in form of any creature, like animals, birds or any of such kind;rather he chooses to make man like himself.

In our image

Image is a mental picture of what somebody or something look like. Man was made in the image of God. It is the will of God to duplicate himself in man, so He uttered the word “let us make man in our own image, according to our likeness”. The presence of God in man, made man a co-creator in creation. God practically proved man equal to the task (co-creator)

Out of the ground the lord God formed every beast of the field. And every birds of the air and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, became its name.Genesis 2:19

Man participated in creation by creating and giving names to all creatures. God rested on the seventh day but man continued in creation, because of the duplicate of God’s life in him.

I said, “You are gods, and all of you are children of the most high.     Psalm 82:6

Jesus answered them“is it not written in your law, I said you are gods;John 10:34

Man is a replica of God and so he continued in creativity daily with the wisdom of God in him. Remember, man was lifeless until God breathed his spirit into his nostrils, then he became a living being. Through the same spirit the power of creativity was bestowed on man.

Therefore you are gods, the power of creativity is in you; this ability should not be subdued or ignored by the circumstances that flood itself around you, be creative, activate the potentials God has deposited inside you because that is the kind of life God wants you to live, an active life of dominating and subduing the earth.

Do not think, these potentials are for a group or set of people, in as much you are a human being, it is in you. Laziness is not in God’s nature,be active, you alone can speak to your heart to bring out that which God expects from you.
